Wash & reproof
Washing & reproofing your waterproof garments helps to extend the life and water repellency.
Not every garment needs to be reproofed every time its washed. A wash revitalizes the Durable Water Repellency (DWR layer) and improves breathability by removing oils & dirt from the surface.
However, if you find that water no longer beads on the surface of the fabric – its time to get your garment reproofed.
Unfortunately, stubborn stains may still remain as stain removals products and detergents may damage the waterproof layer of your garment.
